Chicken Manchurian, Mix vegetable and Fried Rice Recipe

  • CHICKEN MANCHURIAN RECIPE

    Ingredients

  • Chicken Pieces (Boneless): 1/2 kg
  • White Pepper (Ground): 1 tbsp
  • Corn Flour (Dissolved in Water): 4 tbsp

Chicken Broth: 1 cup

  • Garlic (Chopped): 1 tbsp
  • Soy Sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Tomato Ketchup: 1/2 cup
  • Chilli Sauce: 2 tbsp
  • White Cumin: 2 tbsp
  • Sugar: 1 tbsp
  • Salt: 1 tsp
  • Oil: 1/4 cup
  • Oil for Frying: 1 tbsp
  • Spring Onion (Sliced): for garnishing
  • Egg White: 1
  • Vinegar: 2 tbsp

Method:

  • Apply white pepper, egg white, half of the corn flour, 1 tablespoon oil and salt on chicken pieces and place aside for 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a wok and fry chicken till it becomes golden.
  • Heat 1/4 cup oil in a sauce pan and fry garlic cloves.
  • Add vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, chilli sauce, chicken and stock and cook until it comes to boil.
  • Add remaining corn flour slowly while keep stirring the spoon.
  • Mix well until it becomes thick.
  • Sizzling chicken manchurian recipe is ready.
  • Garnish with spring onion leaves and serve hot.

 

  • Mixed Vegetable Recipe

    Ingredients:

    • 1 chicken breast (skinless, boneless, cubed)
    • 2 cups chicken stock
    • 1 heapful tbspn of corn flour (mixed with some water)
    • ½ onion cubed or round
    • 1 carrot cubed or round
    • 1 spring onion (stems only, sliced)
    • 1 cubed capsicum
    • 1 thin sliced cabbage
    • some green pepper
    • Some salt
    • ½ tsp smashed black pepper
    • 4 tbsp oil
    • 1 clove of garlic (crushed)

    Procedure:

    1. Heat oil and fry garlic. Add chicken cubes and stir fry until they are golden brown. Now add the vegetables except spring onion stems and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add the chicken stock.

    2. Let it boil for 5 minutes. Now add corn flour water and mix well. Keep cooking for 5 minutes on high flame and add spring onion stems and dish is ready

Fried Rice Ingredients

  • 2 cups white rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and cut into small dice
  • 2 medium cloves garlic, minced (about 2 teaspoons)
  • 1 spring onion (stems only, sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Black white pepper

Direction

  1. In a saucepan bring water to a boil. Stir in rice. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add carrot,  onions, stems,  bell pepper, garlic and pepper flakes, to taste. Cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. add everything to cooked rice (boiled) and mix well.
